Welcome to my little corner of of the web
I've been taking pictures for as far back as I can remember. From the moment I made my first shoebox camera and stepped into the darkroom to develop that film, I fell absolutely in love with the process. I mean, the idea that I could freeze time, it was magic, it's still magic.
I started my business in 2007 and not surprisingly, named it after the box camera that I loved so much. It began as a small photography business and over the years, has grown into something I never could have imagined. Seventeen year old me would love all of this!
My passion for my work and the connections I've made along the way is what drives me to continue to create.
The best part? It only gets better from here
When I'm not working I'm usually driving, honestly, I feel like I live in my car most days. I can't be the only one!
That being said, I love impromptu road trips with the kids, books and pets are everywhere in my home, I own way to many acoustic guitars and when music isn't playing in the background you can usually hear me humming along to a tune in my head. I love the outdoors, no matter what the weather is like, nature is where I find peace and when I'm not outdoors hiking to centre myself you'll most likely find me in the hot room.
